Hello, I'm Ms. Danette.

I'm so glad you came to my site today. I hope you are ready to learn a verse or two.

One of my favorite verses is Psalm 119:11. " I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you."

In this verse your is God, word is scripture or Bible Verses. Okay now the word sin means something you did that you knew when you did it, it was wrong.

Verse for the Week:         1 Peter 5:7 NLT
"Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you."

We're almost there.

Let's learn the Verse

Read the verse aloud. "Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you. "   1 Peter 5:7 NLT

Now say "Give all your worries"

Say that again, "Give all your worries"

Add "and cares to God"

"Give all your worries and cares to God"

Say that again, "Give all your worries and cares to God" and say it again, "Give all your worries and cares to God"

Now lets say the last part, "for He cares about you" Say just that part again,

"for He cares about you".

Again, "for He cares about you"

Where is this verse found in the Bible

1 Peter 5:7 NLT

Where? :)

1 Peter 5:7 NLT

Now lets put it all together:

"Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you. "   1 Peter 5:7 NLT

If you can't say it without looking at it yet that's OKAY! Go back to the beginning and start over or go back to the part that has you a little tripped up. Keep partaking until you can say it. It's a pretty cool verse. Just think the God that created you, me and well everything cares for you!

Isaiah 55:8 "My thoughts are not like your thoughts. And your ways are not like my ways.

Write one word on an index card or cut up some paper into shapes of your choice.

Lay the cards out in order. Read the verse out loud several times. (By reading the verse out loud you not only see the word you also hear it. I think this makes it easier to remember.

Now pick up the cards and mix them up.

Are you ready? Put the cards back in the correct order. If you forget what it was, check this website or better yet look it up in your Bible. Isaiah can be a hard book to find. Go to the table of contents at the front of your Bible and find the page it starts on. Now the first number 55 is the Chapter in this book of Isaiah. The second number we're looking for is the verse. Take your time find verse  8. The chapter numbers are the large number and the verses are the small numbers.

You may find that your Bible is worded a little different from mine. That's okay. Different translations are worded a little different but the meaning is the same.
